CONDITIONS OF SALE

 

The contract for the sale of package tours is governed not only by these general terms, but also by the provisions of L.27 / 12/1977 N ° 1084 regarding the ratification and implementation of the International Convention on Travel Contracts (CCV) signed in Brussels on 23/04/1970, as well as the above-mentioned Legislative Decree 206/05. The responsibility/liability of Lago Maggiore Incoming is regulated by the above-mentioned legislation and may not in any case exceed the limits defined therein.

Offers are subject to availability of suppliers at the time of booking. Confirmation of said services will be made in writing and signed by both parties (booking confirmation), with any agreement or special request made ​​in writing. The agreed rates as per the contract may be subject to revision in the case of group travel if the minimum number of participants required is not met or due to unforeseen increases in the costs of fuel, taxes and charges.

 A single room will be provided free of charge for the driver for every 25 paying guests and a double room for every 46 paying guests. Any other complimentary services will be individually listed in the travel contract.

Upon acceptance of the offer by the customer, the organizer will set an option expiry date (30 days prior to arrival) by which time the customer may cancel the booking due to failure to achieve the minimum number of participants without incurring penalty charges. After this date, a cancellation fee will be required as follows: - From 30 to 15 days prior to arrival date: 10% of total tour cost - From 15 prior to arrival date: 50% of total tour cost.

 The terms of payment will be indicated in the contract. The organizer usually requires a 30%deposit one month prior and the balance 20 days prior to the arrival of the group. 

The minimum number of participants for most of the services offered is 25 persons (if not specified in the confirmation form). If this minimum number is not reached and it is decided to confirm the tour in any case, the price of said package tour will be recalculated accordingly.

Lago Maggiore Incoming will be at guests' complete disposal on-site at all times. The customer is under obligation to promptly report any problems, lack or failure of services, to the companion / guide or supplier, so as to enable intermediate intervention by the organization to resolve said problem or to find the best alternative solution.

 All tour guides and leaders provided by Lago Maggiore Incoming are licensed professionals able to provide information on historical and artistic traditions as well as customs and traditions of the areas visited.

 Lago Maggiore Incoming is responsible for accurate travel arrangements, for the selection and monitoring of suppliers, and for the proper fulfillment of the performance of services in accordance with agreed terms. Service providers (hotels, restaurants, guides, carriers ...) are responsible directly to customers and in accordance with the laws and international agreements in force for the provision of their services. Lago Maggiore Incoming is committed in every way possible to help the client wanting to assert his rights against the service provider. Any requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to our agency within 4 weeks after departure. After this period the right to compensation is no longer valid.

 Lago Maggiore Incoming cannot be held responsible for any transport delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control: roads closed, traffic jams, police emergency crew, road-works or in the case of extraordinary situations: strikes, weather conditions, terrorist attack, riots, train, flight, boat cruise delay or cancellation.

 Application of Italian law. Any disputes will be brought before the Verbania Court in Italy.

 Lago Maggiore Incoming is covered for third party risk by the Allianz Insurance Agency.
